The Summer Party Hangover and Our Gaelic of the Month

Your memory might have been hazy after that fun night of celebration… but here we are to remind you of the shenanigans that happened during our Summer Lovin’ Party.

We are halfway through the year, and we are celebrating numerous events happening within the team.

– To our Gaelic ladies who bagged the 3rd place and won medals on the recent SDBF against tough IDBC teams. And Rowan, one of the ladies in the crew, celebrated her birthday with us that night!

– To the Gaelics who challenged themselves and joined the British Dragons to raise funds for the Worldwide Cancer Research during their Early-to-eve 12-hr paddle event.

– To our Mandy and Doug Irvine, who tied the knot in Scotland, on the same day.

– To our Sid, who got engaged to the lovely Sophie of the American Dragons (another dragon boat wedding! yay!).

– We also want to acknowledge Cash on an awesome spend for half year that made us hit our target

There will be more that we are going to celebrate(yup, something great is on the way!), as a team.

On behalf of the committee, thank you very much for coming and making the event super fun!

Here are some snaps on that day.

Please text Aoife at 8573 3285 before meeting time if you are going to be late.

Black Friday: The Hangover Lovin’ Edition

4 August

The Penny Black

What better way to kick off the month than to reminisce the shenanigans that happened at the Summer Lovin’ Party?

A game of flip cup might be arranged for as the night goes on, and same with beer chugging(should people want to try and get their names taken down) so look out for what happens.

Tables will be reserved as we might bring the board games to Penny Black! They also serve healthy meals and non-alcoholic beverages, so no fret if you worry about that diet.
